Narcotics Anonymous should remain forever nonprofessional, but our service centers may employ special workers. NA, as such, ought never be organized, but we may create service boards or committees directly responsible to those they serve.
Our Public Relations committee provides services to addicts through our literature as well as providing information panels for a variety of institutions in the South Vancouver Island area.
Each group is fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions. Membership is open to all addicts seeking recovery and the only requirement for membership is the desire to stop using. We meet regularly to help each other stay clean, as the therapeutic value of one addict helping another is without parallel.
